I'm am the Australian born mother of two kids with Autism and Anxiety related to ADD.
Together with their Dad, we all live just south of Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland.
Why Extreme Parenting?
According to Wikipedia - An extreme activity is a term for counter cultural activities perceived as having a high level of inherent danger involving speed, height, a high level of physical exertion, and highly specialized gear or spectacular stunts"
I decided long ago that life was too short to put up with other people's expectations of "normal" and do what I want - so I'm counter cultural.
Danger? that is debatable but I've seen scary stuff and I am Fierce.
Speed? - try and keep up with my kids when we run through the forest.
Physical Exertion? - um, yeah.
